in Loving memory

First speech -Zoe

we are  going to say a few words in loving memory of Our special grandad. He was a wonderful son, husband, dad and most of all we was proud to be  in his life  .It’s hard to share with you the amount of good times that we had together as family. I have always been inspired by how much my grandma meant to him and if I live my life as truthful as my grandad did then I will be a good person just like him. As a grandad he encouraged us to dream and he never told us that we couldn’t success, my grandad had lots of amazing qualities and was a Kind, considerate and a very easy going man. He gave his family a good life and would go out of his way to please everyone. One of the ways that he did this for me was when i was younger he used to taking me to McDonnell’s and getting me a happy meal which I used to look forward to every week. In payment to this I had to keep him well supplied in beers from the fridge.  Sense of direction was not  my grandad’s strong point, as whenever we went on holiday he always go us lost .I remember on one of our  holidays every time he had to reverse I would say to him “mind the bins grandad” . Knowing in my heart that he will have found his way to heaven without getting lost because he will defiantly be there makes me very happy. Grandad I am proud to be a part of you and I will love you forever.

R is for the respect my grandad gave to everyone

A is for an amazing grandad

N is for being the nicest grandad to have ever lived

D is for devoting his love to me and his family

A is for an absolutely amazing man

D is for being a down to earth person

My grandad is an amazing man; you couldn’t get much better than him.

When I was young, I and Zoe would come home from school and grandad used to call us Hannah Malanna and Zoe Blowy .They was our nicknames .Grandad used to let me get on his shoulders and do his hair. I would put hair clips and bobbles in it .It was only ok if it wasn’t a club night. He used to make me and Zoe jammy soldiers before bed. When we went on holiday he used to sit beside the pool and let us swim all day why everyone else went shopping

 He was such a great grandad who we loved very much and still deeply do .you will always be in my heart and hope you are looking down on me and i will  make you proud .I love you so much grandad .

You were special and that's no lie

You brightened up the darkest day

And the cloudiest sky

Your smile alone warmed hearts

Your laugh was like music to hear

I would give absolutely anything

To have you well and standing near

Not a second passes

When you're not on our minds

Your love we will never forget

The hurt will ease in time

Many tears I have seen and cried

They have all poured out like rain

I know that you are happy now

And no longer in any pain.
